Dear Guest,
Welcome! We are sure you will love our home in Mooresville. Set in almost an acre with a mixture of lawn, woodland and landscaping, secluded yet with a water view and boat dock and minutes to Golf,parks, boating, shops and mooresville restaurants.
Carowinds theme park in Charlotte is 30 mins and there is lots to do close by. Visit http://www.lakenormanvacationrental.com for fun things to do!
We are Susan, David & Alexander, a British family who fell in love with Lake Norman and the house . Our house is newly furnished,and as one day it will be our home we have put our hearts into making it comfortable and homely with co-ordinating furniture, soft furnishings and accessories. We hope that this will make for a more pleasurable stay for you.
Our 3 bed/2 bath house is full of charm and character with authentic features - stained glass windows, wood burning stove, loft area in one of the bedrooms and plantation feel to the living room with its wall of floor to ceiling windows, wood blinds and access to the deck with views of the garden and water.
As you would expect the house has all the modern amenities too!
The second bathroom has a roll top legged Victorian style bath with shower over, whilst the large master suite, situated at one end of the house for privacy (with it's own external access) has his and her pedastal sinks, double shower cubicle and a 2 person sauna.
The Dining Room, with vaulted ceiling and stained glass windows, is open to the kitchen and has a dining table for 6 people. Add the leaf and it will seat 8 comfortably with the 2 extra chairs, perfect for relaxing together at mealtimes, celebrations or festive occasions.
Set in almost an acre there is ample space for children to play energetically and safely whilst the adults chill on the deck which is equipped with Gas Grill, table and chairs. If you want to spend the evening beside the lake there is lots of space for everyone down at the dock. We've even provided folding chairs and a cooler for ice cold refreshments!
The house sleeps 6-8 (max 6 adults) in 3 bedroomswith Queen beds. 2 children can be accomodated easily in the spacious Master bedroom on a double height inflatable queen mattress with built in electric pump - we slept on it for 10 nights so can vouch for its comfort!
We request no smoking inside the house, ashtrays are provided for outside though!
